Moody’s: Energy supply from Russia to Ukraine to remain unstable

MOSCOW, Apr 2 (PRIME) – The uncertainty of future energy supplies from Russia will persist regardless of the results of the second tour of presidential elections in Ukraine, according to a statement by international rating agency Moody’s, seen by PRIME on Tuesday.

The Ukrainian presidential elections took place on March 31. Vladimir Zelensky and Pyotr Poroshenko will compete in the runoff on April 21.

The agency also said that there are no expectations that the Russian–Ukrainian relations will improve even if Zelensky wins, although Zelensky can take a more peaceful stance towards Moscow.
